Welcome to the Presentation
for eLearning with Freak the Mighty. “eLearning with Freak the
Mighty” is an interactive learning module that corresponds with
the novel Freak the Mighty by Rodman Philbrick. It consists of chapter
quizzes, vocabulary lists and activities, and links to other Freak the
Mighty activities on the web.
This instructional module
will be used by the eighth grade students at Cowden-Herrick Schools.
It will be a component of their special educational language arts curriculum.
It will replace the pencil and paper activities that were previously
required during the novel unit.
The majority of the
activities will be completed during the school day to accommodate students
who do not have internet access at home. When it is not possible to
complete the activities at school, special arrangements will be made
for those students without access.
