Chapter 12 Essay

Question:

You have now read the twelth chapter of Little House in the Big Woods. In the story, a new machine saved Pa and the other men a lot of time harvesting their crops. Pa considered this a "Great Invention," but he knew that not all people welcomed changes that new inventions brought with them. Think of one invention of modern times that you think is "Great." Describe the invention and discuss two advantages and two disadvantages to using it. How has it changed the way people live today? Write one paragraph to describe your thoughts.  Make sure you go into details.  Non-detailed responses will NOT be accepted.
