Question:

You have now read chapter 3 of On the Banks of Plum Creek. Mary and Laura spent a lot of time at the creek. Ma and Pa allowed them to play there. However, they were told never to go beyond the willow valley where the creek curved. Why couldn't they go there? Why might that place be dangerous? What might happen if the girls explored that part of the creek. Why to parents give us boundaries about places we are allowed to go on our own? Tell about a boundery that your parents have given you. Where were you not allowed to go? Why do you think that your parents didn't want you to go there? Write a paragraph about Laura & Mary's creek boundary and your own experiences.  Non-detailed responses will NOT be accepted.
