Question:

You have now read chapter 14 of On the Banks of Plum Creek. Chapter 14 tells of the flooding that occured because of the melting snow and the spring rains. Nature is full of natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, and blizzards. They wreak havoc on the surrounding environment and communities. Tell about a time where you experienced or heard about a natural event. Tell about the event (rain, snow, etc) and talk about the damage that it left behind. Discuss how such an event can forever change the lives of the people it touches. Non-detailed responses will NOT be accepted.
