Question:

You have now read the seventh chapter of Little House in the Big Woods. Grandpa spent a lot of time in the winter preparing to collect sap from the trees in the spring time. This task of collecting sap is often called "Tree-Tapping". Do a little research to find out more about tree-tapping. Do people still tap trees today? What kinds of tools does it require? How long does it take the sap to boil down to syrup? How long does it take to boil to sugar? Write at least one paragraph to describe your thoughts. Make sure you go into details.  Non-detailed responses will NOT be accepted.
