You have now read the eighth chapter of Little House in the Big Woods. It appears that the Ingalls have a tradition of having a party to celebrate the completion of the graining of the syrup. Does your family have special traditions or family gatherings to commemorate special events? Describe some of the traditions in your family. What kinds of things do you do? For what reasons do you and your family get together? Write one paragraph to describe your thoughts. Make sure you go into details. Non-detailed responses will NOT be accepted.
