Question:

You have now read the sixteenth chapter of Farmer Boy. Father says that the Spaniards were soldiers, the French were fur-traders, and English was busy fighting. He says that "we were the farmers". Father says that farmers cleared teh country and made it America. What does he mean by this? Do you agree with him? Explain your answer. Non-detailed responses will NOT be accepted.
