Question:

You have now read the twenty-third chapter of Farmer Boy. Royal, Eliza Jane, and Alice will be leaving to attend the Academy in town. We assume from the story that the Academy is a boarding school where the three Wilder children will live and attend classes until they graduate. How would you feel if you had to leave home to attend school? Would you enjoy your experiences away from home? Would you miss your family and your own house? The children come back full of knowledge to tell their parents and Almanzo. Their ideas about life change. Do Almanzo and their parents agree with all of their new ideas? How do you know? Who, if anyone, has the right idea? Explain your answer. Non-detailed responses will NOT be accepted.
